Chemical Cleaning Engineering Manager
Plan, coordinate and direct all aspects of chemical engineering cleaning services for oil refineries, oil fields, and petro-chemical plants. Manage client accounts, expand services to existing clients, and develop new client accounts. Contribute to the innovation and improvement of the company’s proprietary technologies, tools and techniques based on experience gained through managing client projects.
Perform in-depth technical analyses of customers’ facilities. Design and present project engineering proposals to clients, which include all technical, personnel, and budgetary specifications. Delegate tasks to professional and technical staff and provide on-site project oversight. Review the technical accuracy of the work performed. Ensure that each project is carried out in accordance with safety and environmental standards.
Responsible for staying within the company’s annual budget for all projects, as well as setting and meeting specific budget for each client project. Serve as main contact with the client company’s management to ensure optimal results within the projected budget and timeline.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related field or foreign equivalent degree plus six years of experience in Chemical Engineering cleaning for the oil industry.
Must have six years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in Chemical Engineering cleaning for the oil industry. At least three years of experience must be as a Project Manager.
Must be fluent in written and spoken Spanish.
Must have knowledge of the operation and maintenance of HF Alkylation Units.
Requires domestic and international travel to client sites (40-60% of time) to direct and supervise client projects on-site. May telecommute; if telecommuting, will require travel to Reno, NV for occasional meetings at employer’s office (4-8 times per year).
